Air Fryer Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the flour mixture and toss to coat the cheese with flour. This helps prevent the cheese from sinking to the bottom of the batter during baking.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the batter can be lumpy.
  5. If desired, fold in chopped green onions.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Grease a small loaf pan that fits inside your air fryer.
  8. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  9. Place the loaf pan in the air fryer basket and air fry for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread to cool before slicing.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
