These homemade air fryer potato slices are loaded with melted cheese, crispy bacon, green onion and sour cream. They make a great appetizer or a fun side dish that you’ll just love to make over and over again!
Be sure to cut the potato slices the same thickness to ensure that they all cook evenly.
*Cut slices at least ¼ inch thick, anything thinner will cook faster and become hard like a potato chip.
*Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days (minus the sour cream).
*Reheat in the air fryer at 360 F for 1 to 2 minutes until warm.
*Put the potatoes into the air fryer basket in a single layer. This will allow for the potatoes to cook evenly.
*If your air fryer has a broil option like my Instant Vortex Plus you can use that to melt the cheese if you prefer.
*The air fryer I used to test this recipe was my Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. You will need to adjust the timing of this recipe based on the air fryer you are using. Be sure to check on the potatoes halfway through the cooking process. The potatoes are done when they are slightly browned on the outside and tender in the middle.
