Once they are served for the first time it most certainly will not be the last.<\/p>\n<p>They are a wonderful, sweet treat, especially beginning in fall when the air becomes crisp and all the way through a snowy winter. Using a small sharp knife, carefully cut the top of each apple off and then use a melon baller to scoop out the center of each apple to remove the core and seeds. Leaving a bit of room at the bottom of each apple, and do not cut all the way through.<\/li>\n<li>Make two round cuts in the apple center with a paring knife. Then turn the apple upside down.<\/li>\n<li>Cut downward starting about a \u00bc inch from the base of the apple to create 6-8 slices of apple.<\/li>\n<li>Flip it over and it will look like a flower blooming.<\/li>\n<li>Fill the center of the apple with caramel bites. Use a spoon or pastry brush to coat the outside of the apples and the inside of each separate petal with a mixture of sugar and butter.<\/li>\n<li>Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and place apples inside at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Keep a close watch on apples during cooking time so they turn out softened to your preference.
