\/>\n\u25a2\u00bd teaspoon cumin<br \/>\n\u25a2\u00bd teaspoon dried oregano<br \/>\n\u25a21 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch to 1.5-inch cubes<br \/>\n\u25a21 medium red bell pepper cut into 1-inch squares<br \/>\n\u25a21 medium yellow bell pepper cut into 1-inch squares<br \/>\n\u25a21 medium zucchini sliced into \u00bc-inch thick rounds<br \/>\n\u25a21 small red onion cut into 1-inch pieces<br \/>\n\u25a2Salt and black pepper<br \/>\n\u25a2Skewers see NOTES below<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the low-sodium soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and dried oregano.<br \/>\n2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or tamari,1 tablespoon olive oil,2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice,1 teaspoon paprika,1 teaspoon garlic powder,\u00bd teaspoon cumin,\u00bd teaspoon dried oregano<\/li>\n<li>Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or longer for more flavor).<br \/>\n1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts<\/li>\n<li>Thread the marinated chicken cubes, bell peppers, zucchini slices, and red onion chunks onto skewers, alternating the ingredients. Lightly salt and pepper.<br \/>\n1 medium red bell pepper,1 medium yellow bell pepper,1 medium zucchini,1 small red onion,Salt and black pepper<\/li>\n<li>While assembling the skewers preheat your air fryer to 400\u00b0F (200\u00b0C).<\/li>\n<li>Place some of the skewers in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving some space between them for even cooking. NOTE: you&#8217;ll need to cook in batches.<\/li>\n<li>Cook the chicken kebabs in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.<\/li>\n<li>NOTE: start with 10 minutes and extend the time if needed for your air fryer. The chicken should reach 165 degrees F to be considered done.<\/li>\n<li>Once cooked, remove the skewers from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>Skewer ingredients<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Each skewer we assembled has 3 pieces of chicken separated by vegetables. Refer to photos as an example. If desired you can add more ingredients to each skewer to make fewer skewers. The nutrition information would need to be recalculated for accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Be sure the skewers you are using fit in your air fryer basket before assembling them.<\/li>\n<li>We have a Cosori 5.8 quart XL air fryer (shown in the images) and used 8-inch skewers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes-container wprm-block-text-normal\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes\"><strong>Air Fryer Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Air Fryer cooking varies<\/strong>. Each brand and type of air fryer differs in how it cooks. It&#8217;s important to monitor cooking in your air fryer for doneness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Adding ingredients to the skewers.<\/strong>\u00a0The ingredients should be placed next to each other but not jammed together. This ensures all ingredients will cook fully especially the chicken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t over crowd the air fryer basket<\/strong>. You&#8217;ll need to cook the kabobs in batches. Room should be left between the kabobs to allow proper cooking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Flip the skewers halfway through<\/strong>. This ensures they cook evenly. If they are not flipped one side can become over done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Use tongs to flip the skewers<\/strong>. Because the skewers will be hot and the air fryer basket crowded use tongs to flip the skewers and remove them after cooking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>How to Store<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes\">Remove the the air fryer kabob ingredients from the skewers and place in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
