The space around each piece of food is needed for even cooking and crispiness.<\/li>\n<li>Season the potatoes right before you\u2019re ready to cook, otherwise, the fries will be limp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ingredients for Air Fryer Fries<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Medium Potatoes, cut to 1\/2 or 1\/4 inch thickness matchsticks<\/li>\n<li>vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<li>Pepper<\/li>\n<li>Paprika<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make Fries in the Air Fryer<\/h2>\n<p>The amount of potatoes is good for a 5.7 qt Air Fryer. Scale the recipe up or down according to the size of your fryer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat the air fryer for several minutes. Meanwhile, toss all ingredients together until the potatoes are evenly coated.<\/li>\n<li>Spray the inside of the fryer basket with nonstick spray.
