sugar, olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to a bowl. Stir to combine. Pour over the short ribs and mix until the short ribs are covered. Let marinade for at least 2 hours, up to 8 hours.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-14133-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Preheat the air fryer to 360F for 5 minutes. Place the short ribs in the air fryer basket, with the meat portion facing down. You may need to cook the short ribs in batches depending on how big they are and how big your basket is.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-14133-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cook at 360\u00b0F\/180\u00b0C for 10 minutes. Flip the ribs and then brush with leftover marinade if desired.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-14133-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cook an additional 10-15 minutes, until the ribs reach an internal temperature of about 190\u00b0F. Let the ribs sit for 5 minutes before serving.
