Seriously, these baked potatoes have the crispiest skin compared to any other cooking method.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How long to bake a potato in air fryer<\/h2>\n<p>Each air fryer is a little different so times may slightly vary. For a small to medium size potato it will take approximately <strong>40 minutes. <\/strong>A larger potato could take up to 50 minutes. Time will depend on the machine and size of potato.<\/p>\n<h2>How to cook baked potatoes in the air fryer<\/h2>\n<p><em>Scroll to the bottom for full, printable recipe, ingredients and video.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ol data-slot-rendered-content=\"true\">\n<li><strong>Clean:<\/strong> Scrub potatoes clean and pat dry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Season:<\/strong> Rub potato skins with oil and season salt, pepper and garlic powder. Poke holes with a fork or knife in each potato.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cook:<\/strong> Place potatoes in air fryer basket. Cook at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Check to see if they are done cooking.
