These air fried potato slices take less than 15 minutes to make. That\u2019s less than half the time it would take to make them in the oven.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s <strong>easy<\/strong>. All you need to do is slice up a potato, add a little oil and seasonings, and cook.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s so delicious! While the air fryer heats up, slice the potato into \u00bc inch thick slices.<\/p>\n<p>3. To a medium bowl, add the potato slices and drizzle them with olive oil. Then add the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once the potatoes are done, remove the basket from the air fryer and add a pinch of cheese to each potato slice, then a few bacon pieces, and top with a little more cheese. Once the oven is preheated, place the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly brown on the outside and tender in the middle. Be sure to turn them over halfway through.<\/p>\n<p>4. Once the potatoes are done, top the potatoes with bacon and cheese and place back in the oven until the cheese has melted. This is usually about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>5. This will allow for the potatoes to cook evenly.<\/li>\n<li>If your air fryer has a broil option like my Instant Vortex Plus you can use that to melt the cheese if you prefer.<\/li>\n<li>The air fryer I used to test this recipe was my Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. You will need to adjust the timing of this recipe based on the air fryer you are using. Be sure to check on the potatoes halfway through the cooking process.
