While it is preheating, begin preparing your bread.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-6312-step-0-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Using the bottom of a mug (or glass), gently press into the center of the bread, to create a pocket. Be sure not to press all the way through the bread, or else the egg may leak down through the air fryer.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-6312-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Apply butter on both sides of the bread.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-6312-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Crack one egg into each bread pocket.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-6312-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Season with salt and pepper to taste and any seasoning of choice. I used Italian seasoning.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\">\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-6312-step-0-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Carefully place the slice of bread directly onto the air fryer basket\/tray. Close the air fryer basket and cook for 5-7 minutes, depending on how you like your yolks.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes-container wprm-block-text-normal\">\n<h3 class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-notes-header wprm-block-text-uppercase wprm-align-left wprm-header-decoration-line\">NOTES<\/h3>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes\">\n<p><strong>Egg Cooking Times<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I love my egg yolk runny, therefore 5-6 minutes of cooking time was perfect for my runny egg on toast.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>If you prefer your egg yolk firmer, cook for an additional 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Keep in mind that these cooking times may vary depending on the size and model of your air fryer. The model that I\u2019m using is\u00a0Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>With a little bit of practice, you\u2019ll be able to\u00a0<strong>cook eggs
