We used to save it for a special occasions, but cooking filets in the air fryer is so easy. Since this is easily our favorite steak recipe, we can easily have it as a regular weeknight dinner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT IS CONSIDERED A SERVING OF STEAK?<\/strong><br \/>\nAlthough each of my filets was about 6 ounces of steak, the recommended serving is 3 ounces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHY IS FILET CONSIDERED ONE OF THE BEST BEEF CUTS?<\/strong><br \/>\nRibeye and Filet are the best cuts of steak. The filet comes from the part of the cow that doesn\u2019t get used often, so it\u2019s not tough.
