Instructions
How to Roast Whole Garlic in the Air Fryer
-
Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.
-
Use a sharp knife to cut enough off the top of the garlic to expose most of the cloves.
-
Place the garlic bulb into a small piece of foil and gently wrap around the sides of the bulb, leaving the top uncovered.
-
Drizzle olive oil over the garlic and into the foil cups, then seal.
-
Place the foil-wrapped bulbs into the air fryer and air fry at 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C for 20 minutes. The garlic will be soft and golden brown.
-
Gently peel back the foil and allow the garlic to cool for about 10 minutes. Once the bulbs are comfortable to touch, you can gently squeeze them, starting at the bottom and moving upwards to remove the roasted garlic.
How to Roast Garlic Cloves in the Air Fryer
-
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.
-
Remove the cloves from the garlic bulb and peel. Alternatively, you can purchase already peeled garlic.
-
Form a cup shape with the foil and add the garlic cloves.
-
Drizzle with olive oil and fold the foil to seal so the cloves are still loose.
-
Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
-
You can turn the garlic packet halfway through cooking for more even cooking. You may also wish to separate the garlic into several foil packets.
