Air Fryer Potato Wedges

These air-fried potato wedges are wonderfully crispy and seasoned to perfection, and they can be ready to serve in just a little over 30 minutes. It doesn’t get much simpler than this! For a delicious appetizer, serve with ketchup, or for a cheesy potato side dish, toss with some grated Parmesan.

How to Cut Potato Wedges:

Cut the potato in half lengthwise.

Place the cut side of the potato on the cutting board and cut it in half again to create quarters.

Repeat step 2 with the other half of the potato.

Position each potato quarter with the cut side facing upwards and cut down the center of each quarter to create a wedge.

Repeat step 4 with the remaining quarters until the entire potato is cut into wedges.

How to Make Potato Wedges:

First, take the seasoned potato wedges and put them in the air fryer basket to cook for ten minutes. Then, use tongs to flip the wedges and cook for an extra five minutes to achieve optimal crispiness.

This recipe doesn’t necessitate pre-soaking the potato wedges before air frying. Nevertheless, if you can spare some time to soak the potatoes in cold water for roughly 30 minutes before seasoning and air frying, the recipe may produce even crispier outcomes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground paprika

  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut each potato into 16 wedges by halving lengthwise, then halving each half lengthwise, and finally halving each quarter lengthwise.
  3. Combine the potato wedges in a large bowl with olive oil, paprika, parsley, chili, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place half of the potato wedges in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the wedges with tongs and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Repeat with the remaining wedges.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
