Ingredients
- 3 small ripe bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups self-raising flour (plus extra if needed)
- Oil spray (for tray)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
- 1/4 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix in the self-raising flour to form a dough. Add a bit more flour if the dough is too sticky.
- Shape the dough into small bite-sized balls (about 20).
Step 2: Air Fry
- Spray the air fryer tray or basket with oil.
- Place the donut balls in the air fryer and cook at 200°C (392°F) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Once cooked, brush each bite with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar while warm.
