Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 18–20 mini tortilla cups or wonton cups
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning (optional, for ranch flavor)
- Chopped cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef Filling
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Stir and simmer until thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
- Optional: Stir in ranch seasoning for extra flavor.
Step 2: Assemble the Bites
- Place mini tortilla cups or wonton cups into small silicone molds or air fryer-safe ramekins.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of taco meat into each cup.
- Top each with shredded cheddar cheese and a few diced tomatoes.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Place filled cups carefully into the air fryer basket or tray (in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 6–8 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
Step 4: Serve
- Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for dipping.
