Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large flour tortillas (gluten-free if needed)
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- Olive oil spray (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onions until the meat is browned and the onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until slightly melted and combined.
Step 2: Assemble the Rollups
- Lay out the tortillas and spoon the beef-cheese mixture along the center of each one.
- Roll tightly, folding in the sides like a burrito to keep the filling inside.
- Brush each rollup with the melted garlic butter mixture.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Place rollups seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping once halfway through for even browning.
Step 4: Serve
- Let cool slightly before serving. Slice in half and serve with ketchup, mustard, or dipping sauce of choice.
