Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas

Air fryer chicken fajitas are a delicious and healthy twist on the classic Tex-Mex dish. Here’s a simple recipe to make air fryer chicken fajitas:

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortillas, for serving
  • Optional toppings: salsa, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, etc.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add the chicken strips, bell peppers, and onion to the bowl with the spice mixture. Toss everything together until the chicken and vegetables are evenly coated.
  4. Place the chicken and vegetables in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches if your air fryer is small.
  5. Cook the chicken fajitas in the air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, tossing them halfway through cooking.
  6. While the chicken and vegetables are cooking, warm up your tortillas in a dry skillet or in the oven.
  7. Once the chicken fajitas are done, remove them from the air fryer and serve them in warm tortillas.
  8. Top with your favorite toppings, such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, or shredded cheese.
  9. Enjoy your delicious air fryer chicken fajitas!

Note: You can customize the spice level and seasoning according to your taste preferences. Feel free to add or adjust the spices as desired.
