Air fryer BBQ chicken wings are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried wings. Here’s a simple recipe to make them:
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated.
- Place the marinated wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the wings in the air fryer for about 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Make sure they are cooked through and crispy.
- Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and place them in a clean bowl.
- Pour the BBQ sauce over the wings and toss them until they are coated in the sauce.
- Return the sauced wings to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.
- Once done, remove the wings from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Serve the BBQ chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauce, celery sticks, and enjoy!
Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the size and model of your air fryer, so it’s always a good idea to keep an eye on the wings while they cook to ensure they don’t overcook or burn.
