Ingredients
- 3–4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg or thyme for extra flavor
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
- In a saucepan, warm the cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using). Simmer for 3–4 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 2: Layer the Potatoes
- Grease a small round baking dish or cake pan that fits your air fryer basket with butter.
- Layer sliced potatoes, cheddar cheese, a spoonful of the cream mixture, and Parmesan. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the dish in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden and potatoes are fork-tender.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
