Air Fryer Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges

Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are a delicious and easy side dish that pairs well with any meal. Using an air fryer to make these potato wedges results in a crispy exterior and tender interior, all while using less oil than traditional frying. Here’s how you can make this tasty dish in your air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 large russet potatoes, sliced into wedges
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: fresh parsley (or cilantro), ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Instructions

  • Prepare the Potatoes (Time: 5 minutes): Slice the russet potatoes into wedges. Place the potato wedges in a large bowl.
  • Coat the Potatoes (Time: 5 minutes): Drizzle the potato wedges with olive oil and toss to coat evenly. In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle the potato wedges with the shredded Parmesan cheese and toss to coat. Then sprinkle with the seasoning mixture and toss again to ensure even coating.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer (Time: 3 minutes): Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Arrange and Cook the Potato Wedges (Time: 25-35 minutes): Place the potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer with the skin-sides down. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 25-35 minutes, turning the wedges halfway through the cooking time, until the potatoes are fork-tender and golden brown.
  • Garnish and Serve (Time: Immediate): Once cooked, remove the potato wedges from the air fryer and place them on a serving plate. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro, if desired. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
