Air fryer bananas are a delicious and healthy treat that you can quickly make using an air fryer. Here’s a simple recipe to guide you:

Ingredients:

  • Ripe bananas
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., nuts, chocolate chips, shredded coconut)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel the bananas and cut them into thick slices. You can slice them straight or diagonally, depending on your preference.
  3. Place the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If you have multiple bananas, you may need to cook them in batches.
  4. If desired, sprinkle some cinnamon over the banana slices for added flavor.
  5. Insert the basket into the air fryer and set the timer for 5 minutes.
  6. After 5 minutes, carefully remove the basket from the air fryer and use a spatula to gently flip the banana slices.
  7. Place the basket back in the air fryer and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the bananas are soft and slightly caramelized.
  8. Once cooked, remove the banana slices from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate.
  9. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the bananas for extra sweetness, if desired.
  10. Sprinkle your favorite toppings over the bananas. Nuts, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut work well, but feel free to get creative.
  11. Serve the air fryer bananas immediately while they’re still warm and enjoy!
