Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon

I make recipes with this bang bang sauce quite often, so I knew I had to try making Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon.

Why, you might ask, do I make it and crave it so often?!

Because it’s freaking DELICIOUS!!!

Like seriously just try it for yourself, and you too could be addicted to this sweet and spicy gem of a sauce

How to Make Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon

Start with a pound of salmon.

I cut mine into 2 larger fillets, but you could cut into smaller pieces if preferred.

This amount did feed my family of four, we just cut them into smaller pieces at dinner.

And the sauce ingredients are mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.

In a bowl put 1/3 cup mayo, 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce, and 1 to 2 Tablespoons sriracha.

It really depends on how spicy you prefer.

Whisk until combined and you have yourself a darn tasty, homemade bang bang sauce.

  • Category: Main Course
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce (I used Frank’s)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsps sriracha (more or less depending on spice preference)
  • 1 pound salmon (cut into 2 to 4 fillets)
  • kosher salt
  • Optional: parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Put the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl and whisk until combined. Put 3/4 of the sauce in a separate bowl for dipping. Brush most of the remaining sauce on the salmon (save some to brush the salmon halfway through cooking).

  2. Season the salmon with kosher salt and place the fillets skin side down in the air fryer basket.

  3. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes, brush with more bang bang sauce halfway through.

Note: This can be baked in a 400 degree oven on a baking sheet for 9 to 11 minutes.

  4. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve with the bang bang sauce for dipping.
