AIR FRYER BREAKFAST POTATOES

Air fryer breakfast potatoes are a delicious and healthy way to start your day. Here’s a simple recipe to make crispy and flavorful breakfast potatoes using an air fryer:

Ingredients:

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional toppings: chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or chives), grated cheese, sour cream, or hot sauce

Instructions:

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into bite-sized cubes. You can peel the potatoes if desired, but leaving the skin on adds extra texture and nutrients.
  2. Place the potato cubes in a large bowl and drizzle them with olive oil. Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated with the oil.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the potatoes, and toss them again to ensure even distribution of the spices.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Once the air fryer is preheated, transfer the seasoned potato cubes to the air fryer basket. Spread them out in a single layer to allow for even cooking.
  6. Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for approximately 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of your potato cubes and the desired crispiness.
  7. Once the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate. If desired, sprinkle them with chopped fresh herbs, grated cheese, or any other toppings of your choice.
  8. Serve the air fryer breakfast potatoes hot as a side dish for your breakfast or brunch. They pair well with eggs, bacon, sausage, or as a filling for breakfast burritos.
