Ingredients
- 2 (8 ounce) Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil or preferred oil
- Sea Salt to season
- Black Pepper to season
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

If preheat is necessary for your air fryer, set it to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

Make chicken seasoning mix by combining PAPRIKA, ONION POWDER, and GARLIC POWDER in a small mixing bowl. Set aside.

Brush CHICKEN BREASTS with OLIVE OIL. Season with SALT, PEPPER and seasoning blend. Flip and repeat for the other side.
Note: I do this right inside the air fryer basket to reduce cleanup.

Air fry chicken breasts for 10 minutes at 380 degrees Fahrenheit. *See recipe footnote for varied breast size cook times.

Open the air fryer and flip breasts over. Continue air frying another 5 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature between 160 and 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Use clean tongs to transfer chicken to a plate. Cover immediately and rest 5 minutes. This allows carryover cooking to bring chicken to the safe minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit if it isn’t already.

Serve warm or allow to cool and refrigerate up to 5 days.
Recipe Notes
To store, cool chicken completely and refrigerate in an airtight container up to 5 days or freeze up to 90 days. To thaw, transfer frozen chicken to the refrigerator for an overnight rest.
To reheat, preheat air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, cover chicken breasts with foil (or leave them exposed), and air fry 5-10 minutes, or until warmed through.
How long to cook chicken breast in the air fryer
Use this size guide for reference, but always confirm a safe minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit on an instant-read thermometer before serving chicken.
- Smaller breasts (6 ounces) – about 12 minutes (flip at 8 minutes)
- Medium breasts (8 ounces) – about 15 minutes (flip at 10 minutes)
- Larger breasts (12 ounces) – about 18 minutes (flip at 12 minutes)
