Air frying corn on the cob is a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional methods of cooking. It results in a crispy and flavorful corn without the need for excess oil. Here’s a simple recipe to air fry corn on the cob:

Ingredients:

  • Fresh corn on the cob
  • Olive oil or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper (optional)
  • Butter (optional)
  • Your choice of seasonings (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, shuck the corn and remove the husks and silk strands.
  3. Lightly brush the corn with olive oil or use cooking spray to coat it evenly. This will help the corn to crisp up in the air fryer.
  4. If desired, season the corn with salt, pepper, or your choice of spices, such as paprika, garlic powder, or chili powder. You can get creative with the seasonings based on your preferences.
  5. Place the corn in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry the corn for about 10-15 minutes, flipping the corn halfway through the cooking time. The exact time may vary depending on your air fryer model and the thickness of the corn.
  7. Keep an eye on the corn to prevent it from burning. The corn should turn golden brown and develop a slightly crispy texture.
  8. Once done, remove the corn from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes.
  9. If desired, spread some butter over the corn while it’s still warm, allowing it to melt and enhance the flavor.
