Ingredients
- 100g self-raising flour
- 80g granulated sugar
- 50g unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 60ml milk
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Cooking spray
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt, alternating with milk.
Step 2: Fill the Cupcake Liners
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Line silicone cupcake molds with paper liners or spray with cooking spray.
- Fill each mold about ¾ full with batter.
Step 3: Air Fry the Cupcakes
- Place molds in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 12–15 minutes, checking at 10 minutes with a toothpick.
- If the toothpick comes out clean, they are done.
Step 4: Cool & Serve
- Remove cupcakes from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
- Decorate with frosting or enjoy as they are!
