Air Fryer Vegetable Frittata

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or a milk alternative like almond or soy milk)
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or a little oil for greasing the air fryer basket

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes, ensuring it reaches the optimal temperature for cooking.
  2. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add Vegetables and Cheese: Incorporate the diced vegetables and shredded cheese into the egg mixture, stirring gently to ensure even distribution of ingredients.
  4. Grease Air Fryer Basket: Grease the air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

  6. Cook Frittata: Cook in the preheated air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model, so monitor the frittata closely. It’s ready when it’s puffed up, set in the middle, and slightly golden brown on top.
  7. Check for Doneness: Use a toothpick or knife to check the center of the frittata; it should come out clean when the frittata is fully cooked.
