Bring out the raw frozen drumsticks from the freezer. Add them to a bowl.
If they are not in individual pieces and stuck together by ice, put them in the air fryer and air fry at 190C/380F for 5 minutes then use a spatula to separate them into individual pieces before adding them into a bowl. Drain the liquid settled at the bottom of the air fryer basket.

In a small bowl, mix the paprika, parsley, black pepper, onion granules, garlic powder, salt, and olive oil.
-
Add the seasoning mix to the chicken wings and mix until the wings are evenly coated.
-
Arrange the chicken wings in the air fryer basket or tray in one layer. Don’t stack.
-
Put the basket in the air fryer and air fry frozen chicken wings at a temperature of 200C/400F for 20 minutes. Flip them with a tong halfway into the cooking time.

If using sauce like bbq sauce, teriyaki, or, honey soy, brush on the drumsticks 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time.

- If you are unable to separate the frozen wings into individual pieces by just running underwater, you can put them in the air fryer and air fry for 4 minutes then separate them into individual pieces, season, and then continue to air fry till cooked.
- Cook from frozen no need to thaw/defrost them first.
- You can use your favorite seasoning on the wings.
- The pepper quantity stated in this recipe is a guide and can be adjusted to suit your taste.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer as that can make the wings cook unevenly. Arrange chicken wings in one layer in the air fryer basket or rack. Cook in batches if necessary.
- If you’d like to toss in sauce like bbq sauce, do so in the last 5 minutes of the cooking time.
- Note that bigger wings will take longer to cook than smaller ones so check on them from 20 minutes.
- When you buy fresh wings, before putting them in the freezer, clean and portion.
