Air Fryer Italian Sausages are tasty and delicious. Easy to make in just minutes with little mess, these flavorful sausages are a great dinner option that pairs well with different sides!
Ingredients
- 5 Italian sausages
Instructions
-
Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
When the air fryer is hot, add the Italian Sausages. Remember to leave some space between them to allow for even cooking and browning.
-
Cook the sausages for 10-13 minutes (this can vary by air fryer and the thickness of the Italian sausage). Remember to flip the sausages at the halfway mark (after about 7 minutes in the air fryer). The internal temperature of the sausages should be 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Once cooked through, remove the Italian Sausages from the air fryer. You can serve them with fried potatoes, white rice, grilled peppers, or in a crusty bun with your favorite condiments!
Notes
- There are many brands out there that make Italian Sausages. We used Johnsonville mild Italian sausages and they cooked really nicely in the air fryer.
- When making sausages with a higher fat content in the air fryer, there is a chance of white smoke coming out of the air fryer. To reduce the likelihood of this, it’s important to use a clean air fryer. Also, be sure to watch the air fryer as the sausages cook – especially if you’re making these sausages in the air fryer for the first time. These sausages didn’t cause any problems in our air fryer – but every air fryer is slightly different!
