Air Fryer Juicy and Tender Tenderloin Roast

This juicy and tender tenderloin roast, brushed with a flavorful honey garlic glaze, is a quick and easy holiday dish. It is perfectly seared, infused with thyme, rosemary, and spices, then air fried to tender perfection. It’s an ideal dinner for the holidays or any special occasion.

About Time 

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 25-30 minutes
  • Total Time: 35-40 minutes
  • Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 2 tenderloins
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey (omit if keto)
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (or any hot sauce you like)
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos for paleo)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Season it
    • In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
    • Pat the tenderloins dry with paper towels and rub the spice mix evenly over them.
  • Sear it
    • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Sear the tenderloins for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned. This step helps lock in moisture.
  • Prepare the Glaze
    • In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, Sriracha, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
    • Brush this glaze over the seared tenderloins, reserving some for serving.
  • Cook in the Air Fryer
    • Place the glazed tenderloins in the air fryer basket.
    • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (62°C).
  • Rest it
    • Once done, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for 10 minutes under a piece of foil to keep it moist.
  • Serve
    • Slice the tenderloin against the grain and serve with the reserved glaze and optional garnishes such as rosemary and orange slices.
