- 4 tablespoon butter add more if desired
- ¼ cup milk whole, 2%
- ¼ cup heavy cream optional, use more milk if needed
Instructions
-
Scrub potatoes well under cold running water. Pat potatoes dry with a kitchen towel or some paper towels.
-
Place potatoes in the air fryer basket. It’s easy to to get them in a single layer.
-
Cook at 400 degrees F 20 minutes. Turn them over so they cook evenly. Cook another 20 minutes.
-
Potatoes are done when they can be easily pierced with a knife or reach an internal temperature of 185 degrees F.
-
If your potatoes need more time, continue cooking in 2 minute increments.
-
When the potatoes are done, remove them from the air fryer basket and place them on a plate or cutting board to remove the skins.
-
Now add them to a large bowl along with the melted butter, sour cream and a splash of the milk and cream.
-
For best results, don’t add all the milk and cream at once.
