You can make this Air Fryer naan bread without yeast. You can make simple naan that is on the table in no time. Serve it with curry or butter chicken or as a side dish. Add some garlic butter for more taste.
Ingredients
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons self-rising flour
- ¾ cup plain yogurt (or dairy-free vegan yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Take a big bowl, and add self-rising flour, salt, and Greek yogurt. Combine the two ingredients with a wooden spoon first
- Then knead the two ingredients into a consistent dough by hand
- Take a cutting board and flour it. Put the dough on the board and cut the dough into 6 equal pieces
- Preheat Air Fryer to 400℉/200℃ for 3 minutes preferably with a grill pan inside
- In the meanwhile roll one piece of dough into naan bread. Open the Air Fryer basket and put the naan bread on the grill pan
- Put a trivet on the naan and cook for 6 minutes. Flip the naan and cook for another 3 minutes
- Take a cutting board and mince the garlic and melt the butter. Stir to combine and set aside
- Take the naan out of the Air Fryer and brush it with butter and minced garlic
- Repeat for the remaining 5 naan bread and serve immediately
