AIR FRYER PEACH GLAZED CHICKEN

Air fryer peach-glazed chicken is a sweet and savory dish that combines the flavors of juicy peaches and tender chicken. Here’s a tasty recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup peach preserves or peach jam
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
  • Fresh peach slices (for garnish, optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley or green onions (for garnish, optional)
  • Cooking spray or oil in a spray bottle

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the peach preserves, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to make the peach glaze.
  4. Reserve about 1/4 cup of the peach glaze for serving.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the remaining peach glaze, making sure it’s coated evenly.
  6. Place the glazed chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.
  7. Lightly spray the chicken with cooking spray or use an oil spray bottle to lightly coat the chicken with oil. This will help achieve a nice caramelized texture.
  8. Air fry the chicken at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-18 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through the cooking time.
  9. While the chicken is cooking, you can simmer the reserved peach glaze in a small saucepan over low heat for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. This will be used as a sauce for serving.
  10. Once the chicken is fully cooked (reaches an internal temperature of 165°F/74°C) and has a beautiful glaze, remove it from the air fryer.
  11. Serve the peach-glazed chicken with the reserved peach glaze drizzled over the top.
  12. Garnish with fresh peach slices, chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
