Ingredients
- 2 cans potatoes in water (2 cans of 18.2oz / 540ml)
- 2 tablespoons oil (canola, vegetable, avocado etc)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F / 200c.
- Drain the potatoes from the water and place into a large bowl.
- Add the oil and seasonings to the potatoes. Mix well with a spoon so that the potatoes are well coated.
- Once the air fryer has preheated, place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket and set to cook at 400f / 200c for 35 minutes.
- Shake the potatoes halfway through cooking.
- Check the potatoes for doneness from around the 30 minute mark.
- NotesDrain and rinse the canned potatoes before tossing in the oil and seasonings.
- Preheat the air fryer before adding the potatoes to the basket. This will ensure you get nice crispy edges. If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat function, let it run at 400f / 200c for 5 minutes before cooking them.
- This recipe is easily doubled and halved. If you cook more and the potatoes don’t fit in a single layer, simply shake the basket a few extra times during cooking so that they brown evenly.
