Air Fryer Salmon With Skin

Air frying salmon with the skin can result in a delicious and crispy texture while keeping the fish moist and flavorful. Here’s a simple recipe for air fryer salmon with the skin:

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional seasonings: lemon zest, garlic powder, paprika, herbs (such as dill or parsley)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is heating, pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides of the fillets with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you prefer.
  3. Brush the skin side of the salmon fillets with olive oil. Make sure to evenly coat the skin.
  4. Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down.
  5. Cook the salmon in the air fryer for about 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The cooking time may vary, so it’s a good idea to check for doneness after about 8 minutes. The salmon should be opaque and easily flake with a fork.
  6. Once the salmon is cooked, carefully remove it from the air fryer. Serve it immediately while it’s still hot.
  7. You can serve the air fryer salmon with a side of vegetables, rice, or salad for a complete meal. Squeezing some fresh lemon juice over the salmon can add a nice citrusy flavor.
