Ingredients
- 2.1 pounds fresh raw chicken wings (about 11 whole chicken wings 1kg)
- 1 Tablespoon Cajun seasoning homemade or store-bought
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules or garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil or any other neutral coking oil
- salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the air fryer at 180C /360F for at least 5 minutes, while you prepare the rest of your ingredients.

Pat chicken wings dry with a kitchen paper towel and add to a large mixing bowl.

Add all the seasoning ingredients to the chicken wings and mix well to combine, making sure each wing is evenly coated in the seasoning.

Arrange the whole chicken wings in the preheated air fryer basket and air fry at 180C/360F for 10 minutes, making sure not to overcrowd the basket.

Using tongs or two forks, carefully flip the chicken wings increase the temperature, and continue to air fry at 200C/400F for another 5-10 minutes until fully cooked, tender on the inside, crispy and golden on the outside. If you have a thermometer, you can check the internal temperature of the chicken wings is at least 74C /165F.

Preheat the oven to 180C / 360F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Pat the whole wings dry with a kitchen paper towel and transfer to a large bowl.

Add all the seasoning ingredients to the wings and mix well to combine, making sure each wing is evenly covered in the seasoning.

Arrange your seasoned chicken wings in your tray in a single layer, making sure the wings don’t overlap.

Bake in the oven at 180C / 360F for 15 minutes flip the wings, increase the temperature and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes at 200C/400F or until golden with crispy skin, and cooked through.

Tips
- Add more cooking time than specified in this recipe if the wings are not crispy enough to your liking.
- Don’t go crazy on seasoning, less is more! Instead, get creative on your dips and sauces and sides!
- Never overcrowd the basket or baking tray to avoid the chicken wings steaming. Keep a single even layer with some space between the wings to get them as crispy as possible.
- Make sure the chicken wings are as dry as possible before seasoning, this way the spices get a chance to stick, and the skin gets crispy.
