Ingredients
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Batter
- In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
- Stir in oil and vanilla extract (plus lemon zest if using).
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Step 2: Air Fry
- Grease and line a cake pan that fits your air fryer.
- Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
- Preheat air fryer to 160°C (320°F). Air fry for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool before removing from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
