AIR FRYER YOGURT MARINATED CHICKEN

Air Fryer Yogurt Marinated Chicken is a delicious and healthy recipe that combines the tenderness of yogurt-marinated chicken with the convenience of an air fryer. Here’s a simple recipe you can try:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken is well coated with the marinade. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to marinate. The longer it marinates, the more flavorful the chicken will be.
  3. When you’re ready to cook, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, and place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook the chicken in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Cook the chicken in the air fryer for about 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should be golden brown and cooked through, with an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. This will help retain its juices and make it more tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired, and serve the air fryer yogurt-marinated chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a salad.
