Ingredients
- 2 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (or cooking spray)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (or sweetener of choice)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Bananas
- Peel and thinly slice the bananas into even rounds (about 1/8-inch thick).
- Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Step 2: Flavor the Chips
- In a bowl, mix cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Lightly coat banana slices with melted coconut oil or spray.
- Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the banana slices.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Arrange banana slices in a single layer in the basket (avoid overlapping).
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Let cool completely to crisp up further.
