Easy Air Fryer Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

INGREDIENTS

    • 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    • To a medium bowl, add the olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until the seasonings are well blended.
    • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the seasoning mixture.
    • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Once the air fryer is ready, add the chicken thighs in a single layer with the flat smooth-side down.
    • Cook for 15 minutes until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure to flip the chicken halfway through.
  • Once done, the chicken thighs will be tender and juicy and the edges crispy. Remove from air fryer, let cool, then enjoy with your favorite sides.

NOTES

Storage And Reheating Instructions:

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until crispy.

Pro Tips:

  • Chicken thighs should be cooked in a single layer. Do not stack.
  • The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers cook a little differently, you will need to adjust this recipe specific to the air fryer you are using.
  • According to the USDA, chicken should be cooked to an internal temp of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
