How To Cook Frozen chicken breasts in the air fryer – A juicy chicken breast is guaranteed to become your new favorite dinner staple. From freezer to air fryer with no thawing time in between, the frozen chicken breasts cooks beautifully. Every mouthful is deliciously browned, tender, and juicy.

Frozen chicken breasts are a great high protein, low carb, low fat option for those of us with less time to cook fresh chicken on a nightly basis. They’re also really easy to find at the grocery store, and they’re often cheaper than their thawed counterparts as well!

We’ve all forgotten to take frozen chicken out of the freezer and had nothing to cook for dinner, so we ended up having to order takeout. Not anymore! This air fryer chicken breast recipe is a great way to solve the problem with an easy solution.

In just under 30 minutes, your family can enjoy a hearty homemade supper without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, frozen
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400ºF
  2. Combine the sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and oregano
  3. Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the chicken breast, rub or brush the olive oil to cover the chicken.
  4. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with the spice mixture
  5. Place the chicken into the basket of the air fryer
  6. Set the timer for 15 minutes, turn the chicken in the basket and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature of the chicken measures 165ºF or is no longer pink in the center.
  7. Remove the chicken and rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing
