Steak
1-2 (8 oz) Boneless ribeye steak
Peppercorn and salt
Garlic Butter
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon fresh thyme
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400 F for 2 minutes. Prepare the steaks by seasoning with salt and peppercorn on each side.
Place the steak in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Let the steak rest for 8 to 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic, and thyme, refrigerate
Serve the steak with the garlic butter on top. Enjoy!
Notes
Season the steak with your favorite steak rub, or use any spices you like.
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. You can make as many steaks can fit inside the air fryer basket but with enough room for the hot air to circulate around the steaks.
Once the steak is cooked, let the steak rest outside the air fryer basket to avoid overcooking.
The cooking time will be determined by your ribeye steak’s thickness and the doneness you like. So it’s important to own an instant meat thermometer when cooking meat in the air fryer because each air fryer brand is different.
Use an instant meat thermometer to ensure it is done to your liking.
