Ingredients:
3 eggs
– 150 g sugar
– 150 g wheat flour
– 1/2 cup vegetable oil (120 ml)
– 1/2 cup milk (120 ml)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
– 1/2 sachet baking powder (approximately 7 g)
Instructions:
1. Preparing the Mold:
– Grease and flour a mold that fits inside the basket of your air fryer. You can use parchment paper to cover the bottom if you prefer.
2. Preparing the Dough:
– In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes light and foamy.
– Add the milk, oil and vanilla essence. Mix well.
– Sift the flour with the baking powder and incorporate them into the egg mixture little by little, mixing with folding movements so as not to lose air.
3. Air Fryer Cooking:
– Pour the batter into the prepared pan and place it in the air fryer basket.
– Cook at 160°C (320°F) for 25-30 minutes. The time may vary depending on the fryer and the size of the pan, so it is important to check the doneness.
– To check if it is ready, insert a toothpick into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, it is cooked.
4. Cooling:
– Once cooked, remove the pan from the fryer and let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes.
– Unmold the cake and let it cool completely on a rack.
