Air fry at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Yield: 1 air fryer cookie, about 4.5” in diameter
Butter Note: It’s easiest to cream the butter and sugar if it has sat out at room temperature for about 15 minutes. But I often find myself in a pinch for time and use butter straight out of the fridge. It just takes a bit of extra arm work. Whatever you do, don’t melt the butter in the microwave!
Parchment Paper: Cut out a sheet of parchment to about 7” by 7” so it’s easy to grab onto the cookie to lift it in and out of the air fryer. You could also use an air fryer liner.
Make Ahead: Prepare the dough ahead of time. Then shape it into a disk, wrap it in plastic, and store it in a freezer bag. Store in the refrigerator or freezer. When you’re ready for a treat, place the dough directly into the air fryer (no need to thaw).
Storing: If you have any cookie leftover, store it in an airtight container for 3 to 5 days.
To Preheat or Not? With the Cosori air fryer, I have never had to preheat before baking anything. If you know that your air fryer does not get up to heat very fast, preheat; otherwise, it’s unnecessary.
