Ingredients:
- 2 large red onions
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt

- To begin with, the initial step in this recipe is to take the onions and slice them into thin slices or onion petals.
- place the sliced onions and drizzle them with olive oil or avocado oil. Toss gently to coat all the slices evenly. Sprinkle salt over the onions.
- Preheat your air fryer to 150C / 300F.Place the coated onion slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- .Cook for 8-9 minutes, then lightly spray the onion slices with cooking oil or use a cooking oil spray.
- Continue to cook further for 7-8 minutes , total cook time of 16-17 minutes.
