Air Fryer Turkey Bacon Jalapeño Popper Cheese Balls

These Air Fryer Turkey Bacon Jalapeño Popper Cheese Balls are a delicious and spicy appetizer, perfect for parties or a quick snack. With a creamy, cheesy center and a crunchy turkey bacon coating, they’re sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh chives
  • 1 cup jalapeño, deseeded and diced
  • 2 cups finely crumbled turkey bacon (or more if needed)
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeño, 1/2 cup crumbled turkey bacon, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is fluffy.
  • Form the Cheese Balls:
    • Using a cookie scoop, scoop out portions of the cheese mixture and form them into balls.
  • Coat the Cheese Balls:
    • Place the remaining 1.5 cups of crumbled turkey bacon on a shallow plate. Roll each cheese ball in the crumbled turkey bacon until fully coated.
  • Air Fry the Cheese Balls:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    • Arrange the turkey bacon-coated cheese balls in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other to allow even cooking.
    • Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until the turkey bacon coating is crispy and golden.
  • Serve:
    • Remove the cheese balls from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly. Serve immediately and enjoy!
